Poly, partnered, or somewhere in between - you deserve a therapist who gets it. | Poly, partnered, or somewhere in between - you deserve a therapist who gets it. |Poly, partnered, or somewhere in between - you deserve a therapist who gets it.|

No matter how hard you try, the pattern keeps repeating.

You’ve done the work, books, podcasts, courses. It helps… until it doesn’t.

And before you know it, you’re right back in the same argument, the same distance, the same “how are we here again?” feeling.

That never-ending cycle can take a real toll, leaving you stressed, anxious, and emotionally drained. The same things keep being repeated like a recording...

Every therapist we've seen has made us feel like our relationship structure is the problem

Sex Isn't Happening

Feeling like roommates

My partner and I want different things and I don't know if there's a middle ground.

I'm terrified that wanting polyamory means I'm broken or selfish

We keep having the same fight and nothing changes

Our communication is broken and I don't know how to fix it

I don't know if this relationship can survive what happened.

You are not the problem. The patterns and how they show up in your relationship are. Those patterns can be understood and changed.

Whether you’re monogamous, newly dating, married for decades, part of a polycule, or considering opening your relationship, this is specialized relationship therapy where you don't get cookie-cutter advice or have to defend your relationship structure.

We focus on what’s actually not working and how to change it using science-backed, personalized approaches. We will work together to help untangle overthinking loops, ease anxiety, and finally start changing the cycles that have kept you stuck.

Couples Therapy in Ohio, Florida, and New Jersey

I’m Sarah Newcomer, an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and owner of Relationship Reset Therapy. I work exclusively with couples and consensually non-monogamous (CNM/ENM) relationships, helping partners untangle stuck patterns and rebuild closeness, whether you’re monogamous, open, or somewhere in between.

With ADHD, anxiety, and a highly analytical mind, I understand how relationships, especially ENM dynamics, can become mentally and emotionally complex. Multiple relationships, shifting agreements, and constant communication can quickly feel overwhelming. I’ve been there.

My therapy blends science-backed approaches like the Gottman Method, RLT, and EFT with empathy, humor, and honest conversations to help couples find clarity, regulation, and deeper connection without turning every discussion into a negotiation or spiral.
